I want to welcome you to the fledgling blog all about Natural Healing Remedies — Providing you with knowledge and information to help you help your health. I shall be sharing information I have gained through twenty years of research into my personal health issues, including PCOS (Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome), hypothyroid, PMDD (Premenstrual Dysphoric Disorder), periods of depression, and last but not least, weight issues. I am also always seeking and sharing knowledge about, and natural healing remedies for, all sorts of health issues from constipation to adult acne.

A little about me…  My name is Lori.  I am in the “40-something” category. I have always been interested in health and medicine. I am a Certified Pharmacy Technician and worked in pharmacy in the area of home infusion. I prepared IVs for patients for administration at home — mainly antibiotics, IV nutrition and chemotherapies. I have also worked in the retail pharmacy arena, so I know a lot about medications. While I believe there is a place for prescription medications, I feel they are grossly overused in our current society. In many cases, medications do not CURE ailments – they only treat the symptoms. My goal as an educator and health care provider is to share alternative and natural remedies, that in many cases do CURE the underlying problems. Of course, some diseases and problems cannot be cured, only managed, but if there is a natural healing remedy, I know I would prefer to use that, and I believe many of you would, too.

I am not a doctor so I cannot advise anyone regarding specific care. I always advocate doing your OWN research and take that information to your doctor. I do however believe that knowledge is power and you need to be your own advocate. Who knows your body better than you?? Don’t be bullied into care that is inadequate or unhealing. You deserve to feel well!
